Outstanding opportunity for a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join a Comprehensive Cancer Program in central Illinois.

• Full-time position

• Join a collaborative team of seven radiation oncologists providing comprehensive care across Central Illinois
\n
• The Radiation Oncologist would have the opportunity to practice external beam radiation therapy
\n
• Performing HDR brachytherapy is a future opportunity, if desired
\n
• This position is based at a single campus and supports a well-equipped practice operating two linear accelerators (Varian TrueBeam® and Varian Edge® with micro-MLCs)
\n
• The department offers comprehensive external beam capabilities, including 3D, IMRT with RapidArc®, SRS, SRT, SBRT, OSMS/AlignRT surface monitoring, and respiratory gating
\n
• Other amenities include CT simulator, MRI, PET/CT, RN disease site specific navigators, dietician, and social work
\n
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
\n
• Staff includes 1 medical physicist, 1 medical dosimetrist, 5 radiation therapists, 2 RNs, and an onsite department supervisor
\n
• Practice in a multi-disciplinary setting with weekly Quality Assurance Radiation Oncology Conference (Chart Round), disease site specific Tumor Boards, and a strong support from Medical Oncology and all Surgical Services
\n
• Group has strong clinical cancer research with access to a National Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) Grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and currently over 80 open clinical trials for cancer patients in Central Illinois.
\n
• Academic appointments will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
\n

• The compensation range for this position is $550k - $600k
