JOB SPECIFICS: \n

• Dynamic Rheumatology practice expanding and seeking an additional BC/BE physician to join our current Rheumatologist in the practice.
\n
• Rheumatology physicians support the practice by focusing on patients presenting complex immunologic care while two specially trained rheumatology APNs provide expert care in fibromyalgia, musculoskeletal medicine, and stable immunologic patients.\n
  \n
  • APNs triage new patients to align them with the appropriate level of care (APN or MD)
  \n
  • Dedicated support staff to manage: Scheduling, Referrals, Prior Authorizations, Specialty Pharmacy needs
  \n
\n
• Beautiful office located near OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, OSF Innovation Jump Simulation & Education Center, the new OSF Cancer Center, and downtown Peoria.\n
  \n
  • Lab and pharmacy on-site.
  \n
\n
• Incoming physician has the opportunity for regional outreach work.
\n
• Teaching with academic appointment and research opportunity through University of Illinois Peoria, though not a formal requirement.

• Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $310,000-$355,000.\n

  • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

\n

\n
• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
\n
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
\n
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
\n
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
\n
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
\n
