Staff AccountantPay Range: $65,000 - $72,000 annually, based on experience Location: Lanco IntegratedLanco Integrated is a leading manufacturer of custom equipment for production automation and a builder of flexible turnkey assembly systems. With machines installed in over 30 countries, Lanco has extensive experience in the construction of special-purpose equipment as well as the integration of industrial robots and other commercially available automation products. We provide custom automation solutions for industries including medical devices, consumer products, defense, electronics, and industrial manufacturing. Lanco Integrated is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a professional looking to build hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, working cross functionally with partners throughout the company as part of a team of experienced finance leaders. The Staff Accountant reports directly to the Accounting Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations with resolution of variances.Support inventory and work-in-process (WIP) tracking and reconciliationsPayroll processing and related reportingPartner with project managers to support project setup and basic financial trackingAssist with audit preparation and financial reporting activitiesParticipate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements and support ad hoc projects as needed.Additional exposure to AP/ARQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid-size organizationWorking knowledge of U.S. GAAPPayroll processing experienceStrong Excel skills, including use of formulas and pivot tablesExposure to an ERP system preferredManufacturing accounting exposure is a plus but not requiredDesired Skills & CharacteristicsDemonstrates proactive initiative and a willingness to take ownership of tasks while seeking opportunities to support additional projects and responsibilities.Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.Be comfortable asking questions, learning new systems, and participating in a collaborative team projects.Strong organizational and problem-solving skillsDesire to grow professionallyBenefitsComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability and life insuranceEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)401(k) with company matchingPaid time off and paid holidaysPaid parental leaveTuition reimbursement
