Benefits & Pension Coordinator
Location: San Antonio, TX Area
Position Type: Open-Ended Contract
Work Schedule: 100% Onsite
We are currently seeking a Benefits & Pension Coordinator to support benefits, retirement, pension, and payroll-related activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with benefits or retirement administration and be comfortable working with multiple systems and databases.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent education and professional experience may be considered.
- Prior experience in benefits administration, retirement/pension administration, payroll , or a related field strongly preferred.
- Experience with TRS, ORP, BenefitFocus, pension calculations, or SECURE 2.0 is highly desirable.
- Oracle HCM/Fusion Payroll experience preferred but not required.
Systems & Technical Experience
- BenefitFocus experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of TRS and ORP retirement programs .
- Experience with pension calculations and retirement contribution requirements .
- Knowledge of SECURE 2.0 provisions affecting retirement plans and payroll processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel .
- Experience with Oracle HCM and/or Oracle Fusion Payroll preferred but not required.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems and databases.
Key Qualifications
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and comfortable handling confidential employee benefits and retirement information. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in an onsite environment are important.
