Job Opportunity – Orthopedic Surgeon – Kentucky

Start Date: October 2025 and ongoing

Location: Kentucky

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 24-hour emergency call coverage, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM; call back required with 2-4 hours gratis preferred for the 24-hour rate

Highlights:

• Diverse orthopedic case mix including trauma, total joint replacement/revision, spinal surgery, and arthroscopy
• Treatment of fractures, dislocations, amputations, deformities, and tumors of bones and joints
• Patient demographics include adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• EPIC EMR system in use
• Ongoing coverage needs with potential for regular assignments
• Travel reimbursement provided including lodging, rental car, and flights

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery (required)
• Active Kentucky medical license or IMLC (required)
• Active DEA registration (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Must be proficient in hip nailing procedures (required)
• Experience with general surgical and non-surgical orthopedic procedures (required)
• Hip/knee replacement procedures experience (required)
• Arthroscopy experience (required)
• Hip/knee repair or revision procedures experience (required)
• Orthopedic Fellowship training (preferred)
• COVID vaccination (preferred)
• Clean background check (required)
