Technical Product Analyst

Overview
Responsible for bridging the gap between technical teams and product management by delivering insightful data analysis and developing product specifications. Ensures that product features align with market demands and user needs. Utilizes data and technical expertise to inform product strategy, enhance user experience, and align products with business goals. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve product functionality, support the overall product lifecycle, and drive success.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with product management to gather, document, and analyze user requirements.
Translate business needs into technical requirements and specifications. specifications.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and insights that inform product decisions
Use data analytics tools to support product performance measurement and reporting.
Develop user stories and acceptance criteria that clearly outline functionality and features for development teams.
Create clear reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and insights to both technical and non-technical teams.
Provide data and insights to support product roadmap decisions, including prioritizing feature development and defining success metrics for new initiatives.
Assist in testing and validating technical requirements and features before they are released to production, ensuring quality and alignment with goals.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (eg., backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews) to ensure alignment and readiness
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in product analysis or software development
Developing understanding of business and operating environment
Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
Familiarity with data querying, reporting, and analysis; able to recommend solutions to problems.
Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and analytics languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
Developing knowledge of agile development processes and experimentation frameworks.
Strong written, verbal, and quantitative communication skills.
Ability to work independently on routine tasks while following broad guidelines.
Knowledge in IT solution creation and delivery, applying business insights to assigned projects/products.
Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
Experience eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirement using techniques such as interviews, use cases, workflows and process modeling
Ability to translate business needs into well-defined requirements using user stories, backlog items, diagrams or prototypes
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.

Desired Qualifications
Certifications such as SAFe, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or willingness to obtain
