About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Operations Specialist to join the Domestic Settlements team within Wealth and Investment Management Operations. This team partners closely with internal business groups, counterparties, custodians, and market utilities to ensure operational excellence, minimize risk, and maintain regulatory compliance to support the success of Wells Fargo and its clients.As a Specialist, you will support the firm's strategic objectives by delivering reliable post-trade processing, enhancing operational controls, driving process improvements, and supporting modernization initiatives across the settlement lifecycle. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Participate in low to moderately complex lifecycle support initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within Securities OperationsReview and analyze basic or tactical functional operational tasks or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives; exercise independent judgment related to low-to-medium risk deliverablesPresent recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations related to a full process within a trade environment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsProvide information to, collaborate, and consult with peers, colleagues and managers, including internal and external customers, to resolve issues and achieve goalsDevelop expertise in the following operational processes including client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, and custodial operations for both incoming and outgoing account transfers.Resolve low to moderately complex escalated issues within the scope of responsibility in Security OperationsResearch low to moderately complex business risks, provide input into policies, enhance customer satisfaction, and review time sensitive documents and transaction requestsExercise independent judgment in understanding trade settlement workflow controls to minimalize the effects of operational breakdownsSupport overall effectiveness of the team according to plans; monitor daily securities and cash related production workContribute and may lead implementation of projects, new or revised processes, and procedures that require coordination among operation teams and perform analysis for initiatives that support business strategies making decisions on matters with financial impact and riskRequired Qualifications:2+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:2+ years experience supporting domestic securities settlement operations, including DTC/DTCC and Federal Reserve settlement activity1+ years experience with SEI and/or BETA securities processing platformsKnowledge of equity, fixed income, and cash settlement processesDemonstrated experience researching and resolving trade, cash, and position breaksAbility to identify process improvement and automation opportunities through tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor, PowerBI, etc.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to partner across operations, technology, and business teamsIntermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skillsJob Expectations:Ability to work a hybrid in-office scheduleWillingness to work on-site at stated locationThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship​Posting Location:Saint Louis, MissouriPosting End Date: 24 Sep 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value Equal OpportunityWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
