Bonneville Peak Rehab and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Toms River, New Jersey. We cater primarily to patients with private medical insurance, ensuring they receive the highest level of care in a supportive environment.

Work Environment

This position is on-site in our Toms River facility, located in a welcoming community known for its commitment to health and fitness. The team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) who collaborates to provide well-rounded care. Your standard work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their objectives and requirements within a healthcare setting.
• Efficiently manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, providing focused and attentive care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques to develop customized, detailed care plans that promote recovery and rehabilitation.
• Administer cost-effective treatments that encourage improvements in movement, mobility, and overall quality of life.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, promoting functional abilities and encouraging progress.
• Document all services and treatments provided to maintain compliance and facilitate ongoing patient care discussions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to optimize individual patient care.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and monitor treatment effects to adapt care plans as needed.
• Encourage and promote a healthy lifestyle, focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with primarily consist of individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, surgery, or chronic pain conditions. You will encounter diverse client backgrounds, each with unique challenges and goals. Your personalized approach will be pivotal in facilitating their recovery and helping them achieve their optimal physical potential.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensing and certification as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop and implement effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to efficiently document patient care and progress.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
