Position Overview

Bonneville Peak Rehab and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Lakewood, New Jersey. In this full-time position, you will be integral in guiding our patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them to regain mobility, improve their functionality, and enhance their quality of life. Work Environment

You will be part of a close-knit team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), working onsite within our rehabilitation center. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring a well-structured work-life balance. Our facility promotes an engaging and supportive atmosphere, where collaboration and communication are key to achieving successful patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their rehabilitation needs and develop tailored treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based practices.
• Effectively manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused and comprehensive care during their sessions.
• Utilize a diverse range of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, to enhance each patient's physical capabilities.
• Document and track patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols based on their ongoing assessment and feedback.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journey, encouraging them to strive for maximum functional abilities and independence.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and improve multidisciplinary communication.
• Educate patients and caregivers about injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be serving patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and surgeries, ensuring that each treatment plan addresses their specific needs. You will play a critical role in minimizing the reliance on medications and offering alternatives to invasive surgical procedures, all while fostering a recovery environment that empowers patients to take charge of their health.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated knowledge of manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice standards.
• Proficiency in managing electronic medical records (EMR), particularly experience with platforms like WebPT.
• A clean professional record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of developing individualized exercise regimens and rehabilitation programs.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate patients of all ages.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
