Bon Secours Therapy Center is seeking a passionate and skilled full-time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Toms River, New Jersey. In this role, you will be a vital support for patients as they work towards regaining motion and achieving optimal functionality following injury or surgery. Our facility features a state-of-the-art, 5000-square-foot sports medicine environment where we predominantly serve individuals with private medical insurance. Our close-knit team comprises two seasoned physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, allowing for a collaborative approach to patient care.

Work Environment

The position is onsite at our outpatient office in Toms River, ensuring you can actively engage with patients and colleagues in real-time. We operate a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance while allowing you to make a significant impact on your patients' recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' goals and rehabilitation requirements.
• Manage a patient caseload that typically involves treating one individual per hour to deliver personalized care.
• Demonstrate expertise in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy, applying evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's needs.
• Employ cost-effective treatment strategies that enhance clients' range of motion and mobility, aiming to reduce reliance on medication and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Formulate individualized care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and functional exercise.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs to meet the specific recovery needs of each patient.
• Motivate patients to adhere to their treatment plans and encourage lifestyle changes that promote overall health and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management and optimization of treatment outcomes.
• Regularly monitor and assess treatment progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on measurable outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient interactions and therapy services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and have a valid state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, reflecting the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
