New Life Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Toms River, New Jersey. Work Environment

The role is based in our outpatient office, where you will work alongside a small, dynamic team composed of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). We operate on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. In response to high patient demand, we are urgently hiring for this position, which offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 with full benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' needs to create tailored treatment plans that address individual mobility challenges and health objectives.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and personalized care.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques, emphasizing manual therapy and non-surgical treatment alternatives to minimize reliance on medication.
• Design and execute comprehensive fitness and wellness programs that address strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate and engage patients throughout their recovery journey, fostering a positive mindset towards rehabilitation and health.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and specialists to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain clear communication regarding treatment plans and adjustments.
• Perform regular evaluations to monitor treatment efficacy and patient engagement, adapting approaches as necessary.

Our practice primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions and those seeking rehabilitation after sports injuries. The diverse patient demographic includes individuals with private medical insurance. As an outpatient facility, we focus on therapy that is practical and aims to maintain patients' health and wellness, providing an environment where all individuals feel supported in their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR software such as WebPT for effective documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable and will be considered a significant asset.
• Experience in implementing innovative care techniques that demonstrate positive patient outcomes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate productive relationships with patients and team members.
