We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team at Rethink Counseling Center, located in Toms River, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our outpatient office, which boasts a modern and well-equipped facility designed for optimal patient interaction and treatment delivery. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all duties in alignment with Rethink Counseling Center's core values and clinical principles.
• Maintain compliance with the New Jersey State Practice Act and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Uphold the ethical standards set forth by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Assess patients through comprehensive evaluations and establish individualized treatment goals and programs tailored to their needs.
• Deliver specialized, goal-oriented treatments aimed at maximizing recovery and improving patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating treatment plans with physicians and community resources as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development and reflect a commitment to ethical practices.
• Assist with additional responsibilities as asked by management to support the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role includes a diverse patient demographic, encompassing pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. You will employ evidence-based practices to address various orthopedic conditions and ensure that each treatment plan is tailored to the specific age-related needs and concerns of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution.
• A current physical therapy license issued by the State of New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in a physical therapy setting, demonstrating a strong track record of patient care.
• Experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to assess, treat, and communicate effectively with patients across all age groups, ensuring that their individual needs are understood and addressed.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, we highly value candidates who possess additional specialization or certifications in advanced rehabilitation techniques, particularly those relevant to orthopedic cases. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is also preferred to facilitate patient documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits
