This position is based in our outpatient office located in Toms River, NJ. Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations to assess their physical abilities and limitations and develop tailored therapeutic intervention plans to achieve set rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment outcomes.
• Implementing evidence-based therapies and techniques throughout the rehabilitation process, ensuring adherence to professional ethical standards and guidelines.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary, utilizing metrics to evaluate functional restoration and recovery.
• Providing patient and caregiver education on rehabilitation techniques, home exercises, proper use of any therapeutic appliances, and lifestyle modifications to support lasting improvements.
• Overseeing and mentoring support staff in delivering specific therapeutic tasks, ensuring high levels of quality and care throughout patient interactions.
• Performing administrative tasks related to patient documentation, scheduling, and caseload prioritization to maintain an efficient flow of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our treatment methodologies involve creating individualized care strategies that offer support and education both in-office and via home therapy options, focusing on enhancing mobility and functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is highly preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required; candidates must obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• A passion for working with orthopedic patients and contributing positively to their rehabilitation journey.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient setting is beneficial but not a mandatory requirement. New graduates with a strong learning mindset are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
