Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is dedicated to sports medicine and orthopedic outpatient care. Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite in a home care setting, allowing us to bring our expertise directly to our patients in the comfort of their homes. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a great work-life balance. You will work alongside a team of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess each patient's unique goals and requirements to tailor personalized treatment plans.
• Manage an efficient caseload, treating one patient per hour, ensuring focused and individualized care.
• Utilize relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to provide high-quality therapeutic interventions.
• Implement cost-effective treatments designed to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Explore alternatives to surgical procedures and reduce reliance on medications through innovative therapeutic strategies.
• Create detailed care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment modalities and techniques.
• Develop and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that attend to each patient's specific needs.
• Deliver evidence-based, personalized care using proven interventions and therapy methodologies.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment process to ensure optimal recovery and functioning.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices by focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care and treatment planning.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor patient progress, and document all services provided clearly and accurately.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries, including post-operative rehabilitation and chronic pain management. Our patients often seek to regain mobility and return to their active lifestyles, making your role essential to their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to provide advanced physical therapy services.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, enhancing your effectiveness in evaluating and treating patients.
• Exceptional competence in designing and implementing exercise protocols tailored to individual recovery paths.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to manage patient information efficiently.

Preferred Experience

Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly valued, as it ensures you are equipped to handle the diverse challenges faced by our patient population. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development will set you apart as an ideal candidate.
