Work Environment

This position is based in Jackson, New Jersey, where you will primarily provide care onsite. Our work facility focuses on home care, allowing you to utilize your clinical skills in a comfortable and familiar setting for our patients, enabling them to regain independence and improve their quality of life in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive and tailored treatment plans for each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices that cater to their unique needs.
• Actively communicate and collaborate with the patients' physicians and healthcare teams to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
• Conduct daily documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to maintain accurate patient histories and treatment progress.
• Leverage your clinical expertise to make independent decisions regarding effective treatment combinations and modifications based on patient evaluations.
• Regularly assess, evaluate, and report on patients' progress towards their therapy goals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations that govern physical therapy practices, ensuring compliance in all treatment procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Compassion Elevated Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those managing chronic pain, and patients seeking rehabilitation after injury. You will be responsible for addressing various conditions such as joint issues, fractures, and soft tissue injuries, ensuring personalized care and recovery strategies that cater to each patient's specific situation.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, particularly in orthopedics, geriatrics, acute care, or outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic assessments, treatment techniques, and patient-centered care planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills, organizational capabilities, and problem-solving aptitude necessary to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with home care settings, particularly in delivering therapy services in patient homes.
• Familiarity with various treatment modalities and contemporary therapeutic technologies.
• Advanced skills in educating patients and their families about rehabilitation exercises and home care techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
