Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

Position Overview

Queen Tower Recovery Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Toms River, New Jersey. This full-time role offers the opportunity to significantly impact patients' lives by assisting them in their rehabilitation journey. As a key member of our team, you will be entrusted with creating individualized treatment plans, managing patient progress, and ensuring that each client receives the highest standard of care in our advanced rehabilitation facility.

Work Environment

You will work in an onsite rehabilitation center equipped with modern technology and therapeutic tools. Our facility is designed to support a collaborative approach, allowing for real-time communication with fellow Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA). The environment is conducive to intensive patient care, ensuring a productive and fulfilling work experience, operating with a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and establish individualized therapy goals.
• Implement treatment plans that utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' mobility and function.
• Manage a caseload of up to one patient per hour, providing personalized attention to each client.
• Employ diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens, to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Document treatment interventions and monitor patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation process to inspire confidence and improve outcomes.
• Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy practices and incorporate new techniques as appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care and recovery strategies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our facility's therapy programs and processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We pride ourselves on creating holistic and tailored wellness programs that address the specific needs of each patient. Our goal is to provide treatments that not only relieve pain but also empower patients to regain their independence and improve their overall lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license to practice in New Jersey.
• Clear professional record without any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated history of successfully managing diverse patient caseloads in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in implementing wellness programs or health education activities.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
