Senior Accounting Operations Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations professional to independently manage accounting processes, projects, and workstreams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills , excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of process improvement .

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage accounting tasks, priorities, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Own end-to-end accounting processes and projects , including planning, milestones, execution, and timely completion.
• Analyze complex accounting and operational issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Conduct detailed analysis to evaluate business impacts and recommend appropriate actions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance.
• Develop and communicate recommendations to improve operational practices and procedures.
• Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve accounting operations.
• Provide guidance, training, and best-practice knowledge to peers and junior team members.
• Monitor process effectiveness and support the development of appropriate metrics/KPIs .
• Communicate status, findings, recommendations, and business impacts clearly to stakeholders.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and department performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field .
• 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience in Accounting Operations, Finance Operations, or a transaction-processing environment .
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience owning end-to-end processes or projects .
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with process improvement, continuous improvement, or process optimization .
• Experience establishing or monitoring KPIs and performance metrics .
• Experience training or coaching peers and junior team members.
• Experience working on cross-functional accounting or finance projects.
• Strong Excel, reporting, and data-analysis skills
