Shift: 3rd shift 9p-5a The Spartanburg, SC plant is seeking an experienced Die Cut Operator to join our production team for our second shift. How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock: Responsible for setting up the machine for the production run, sheets, dies, etc. Operate the machine, following all standard operating procedures and instructions relevant to the job, position, and department accurately. Evaluate production quality and bring concerns to the appropriate lead or supervisor. Perform routine adjustments during the production run and maintain production throughout the run. Perform all assigned work effectively and on schedule. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety regulations. Contribute to quality investigations when necessary. Perform other job duties as assigned. What You Need to Succeed: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous die cut experience and printing capability required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills. Ability to lift, push and/or pull 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift. Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and management.
