Senior Staff Accountant

Due to continued organizational growth and increasing transaction volume, the Accounting team is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and technical accounting activities. What You'll Do Perform general ledger accounting activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Play a key role in the monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Support financial reporting activities and assist with the preparation and analysis of account balances and financial results. Research and apply accounting guidance related to revenue recognition and lease accounting, including exposure to ASC 606 and ASC 842 . Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies. Maintain accurate and well-organized supporting documentation for accounting transactions and reconciliations. Assist with audit requests and collaborate with internal and external auditors. Partner with Accounting, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to support accounting operations and process improvements. Help identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency. Participate in special projects and other accounting initiatives as the organization continues to grow. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP . Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close . Exposure to or knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition and/or ASC 842 lease accounting . Advanced or strong working knowledge of Excel . Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Collaborative, service-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Preferred Qualifications CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification. Public accounting and/or audit experience. Experience working with nonprofit or public-benefit organizations. Experience supporting international or globally distributed operations. Experience with Oracle Fusion and/or Concur . Why Join?
