Sales Manager / Hunter (m/f/d) - US

Allied Vision

Responsibilities Development and implementation of a sales strategy to increase sales growth in the US market based on market and trend analyses Identification of potential new customers through in-depth research (web, social media, industry events) Qualification and prioritization of leads according to potential (needs analysis, budget review, stakeholder/decision-maker mapping) Creation and implementation of convincing sales presentations and demos for vision and camera solutions (value proposition, benefit, fit for customer needs and roadmap) Establish and maintain long-term relationships with the top management of selected target customers Management of the end-to-end sales process: initial contact, on-site appointments, workshops, negotiations up to the conclusion of the contract Leverage CRM tools for tracking, reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management to ensure visibility and reliable forecasting Continuous monitoring of market/industry trends, competition and framework conditions for the further development of the sales strategy Close cooperation with internal teams (e.g. business development, application engineering) to create tailor-made offers and to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty Your profile Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or related field At least 5 years of sales experience (ideally vision/technology industry) with a proven track record of achieving/exceeding revenue targets Ability to identify and successfully close new business opportunities; Focus on building long-term customer relationships Very good sales/pipeline management over long sales cycles (typically 12‑18 months) as well as strong time management and organization Very strong communication and presentation skills; Convincing presentations for different target groups (including top management and technical stakeholders) Confident use of CRM tools and reporting; Ability to track and control a sales pipeline; Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills High self‑motivation and goal orientation; very good interpersonal skills and strong customer orientation; resilient in fast‑paced environments willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally (up to approx. 50%); Valid passport required As a global industrial company with nine locations in Germany, Belgium, Canada, the USA, and Asia, we develop, produce, and distribute our highly specialized industrial cameras, modular image processing systems, and software solutions for machine vision, research, and high‑tech applications.
