Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess health status, identify signs of illness, and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Diagnose a variety of medical conditions and monitor patient progress, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.
• Prescribe medications and treatment protocols in accordance with established medical guidelines and state regulations, maintaining a patient’s health journey as a priority.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and assist surgical teams during major operations, contributing to a comprehensive care approach.
• Educate patients and their families about health management, prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall wellness.
• Support and enhance the facility’s goals concerning quality assurance to assure continued excellence in healthcare service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic is diverse, including individuals of all ages and backgrounds seeking a range of healthcare services. The NP will work primarily with patients managing chronic conditions, as well as those in need of acute care, thereby establishing long-term relationships based on trust and thoroughness. Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program.
• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is mandatory.
• Valid US work authorization is required.
• Keen ability to monitor and adhere to local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and standards.
• Proven ability to exercise professional responsibility and operate independently within the Nurse Practitioner’s scope of practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a hospital setting is highly desirable, particularly in a collaborative or multidisciplinary healthcare team environment.

Compensation and Benefits
