About the Job We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and hands‑on Restaurant General Manager to lead the daily operations of our restaurant while delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving financial performance. This leader will be responsible for creating a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork while ensuring the restaurant consistently exceeds guest expectations. The Restaurant General Manager oversees all front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations, including staffing, training, food quality, service standards, financial performance, inventory management, and health and safety compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys developing people, and leads by example. The successful candidate is a strong communicator, an effective coach, and a problem solver with a passion for hospitality. They understand that outstanding guest service begins with engaged team members and operational excellence. What You’ll Do Lead all daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high‑performing team. Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable work environment. Ensure consistent execution of food quality and service standards. Monitor labor, food costs, and operating expenses to achieve financial goals. Oversee scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Resolve guest concerns professionally and proactively. Partner with hotel leadership to support property‑wide initiatives, events, and revenue opportunities. Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and implement action plans to improve profitability. Lead by example by maintaining a visible presence during peak business periods. What We’re Looking For Previous Restaurant General Manager or comparable restaurant leadership experience. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams. Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including labor management, food cost, and P&L performance. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong guest service mindset with a passion for hospitality. Requirements Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years in a General Manager or senior leadership role. Proven experience leading both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations. Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L management, labor controls, food cost, and budgeting. Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, coach, and retain high‑performing teams. Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a high standard of guest service. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and local health department regulations. ServSafe Food Manager Certification (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe). Experience with inventory management, purchasing, scheduling, and vendor relations. Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds . High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred. About First Hospitality...
