Job Title: Project Manager - HVAC Construction Coordinator (Nuclear Operations)

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Project Manager to lead the replacement of HVAC infrastructure projects within our Fuel Manufacturing Operations (FMO) facility. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and commissioning complex HVAC systems that are critical to our site's safety, regulatory compliance, and production continuity. You will act as the primary liaison between engineering, safety, operations, and external contractors to ensure that all HVAC upgrades are delivered on time, within budget, and in full accordance with strict nuclear safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Project Lifecycle Leadership: Own the end-to-end management of HVAC capital projects, from scope development through to installation, commissioning, and final turnover to operations.
• Regulatory & Safety Management: Ensure all project plans integrate necessary "Items Relied On For Safety" (IROFS) and strictly adhere to NRC and facility safety regulations. Manage all related Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and radiological work, permits (RWP), contractors and subcontractors, and mechanical lifting plans.
• Contractor & Vendor Oversight: Manage third-party contractors, ensuring their work meets nuclear-grade quality standards and that all site-specific security and safety protocols are followed.
• Scheduling & Resource Planning: Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, ensuring HVAC installation activities align with FMO production schedules, maintenance outages, building managers, and critical path milestones.
• Quality Assurance & Documentation: Maintain rigorous documentation control, including "as-built" drawings, system testing records, and project close-out documentation required for nuclear regulatory compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate project status, technical challenges, and risks to stakeholders ranging from hourly operators to executive leadership. Translate complex technical HVAC requirements into clear action plans for non-technical team members.
• Continuous Improvement: Use Lean and Six Sigma tools to identify and implement improvements to project delivery processes, reducing downtime and enhancing system efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field).
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in an industrial or highly regulated environment, specifically with HVAC systems.
• Nuclear Readiness: Must be able to successfully pass a Nuclear Safety Training Test; adhere to strict radiation protection, criticality, and industrial safety regulations; and wear required protective clothing for access to controlled areas.
• Compliance: Must be a US citizen, must be able to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear facility, must be able to pass a federal background check, 18 years or older and have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Technical Literacy: Familiarity with HEPA filtration, negative pressure containment strategies, and Building Management Systems (BMS) integration, specifically Bosch (formerly ECS).
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders and resolve technical conflicts in a fast-paced environment.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure work aligns with plans.
• Must be capable of working in a construction environment: working at heights, wearing PPE such as steel toed boots, safety glasses, full-face/half- face respirator, safety harness, gloves.
• Must be able to differentiate colors.

Desired Characteristics:

• Industry Experience: Prior experience in a nuclear fuel manufacturing or high-hazard chemical/industrial facility.
• Professional Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional)
