Key Responsibilities\n

The Mental Health Counselor will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions through video chat, utilizing a person-centered, recovery-oriented approach to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Continuously assess client treatment needs and modify plans to reflect changes in their progress and circumstances.

• Collaborate with clients to foster coping mechanisms, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills that enhance their daily living and social interactions.

• Educate clients on available community resources and advocate for their access to these services, ensuring they can fully leverage external support systems.

• Provide skill-building activities focusing on daily living skills, community participation, and leisure interests to promote independent functioning.

• Monitor symptoms, manage behaviors, and assist with aftercare and closure planning to support long-term recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is focused on engaging with adult clients aged 18 and older who may be facing mental health challenges that hinder their ability to engage in everyday activities or maintain independence. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
