This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while still playing an integral role at Metro Point Counseling Center. Regular working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a structured work schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to understand the unique needs of each patient and create personalized treatment plans.

• Engage with patients, listening empathetically to their concerns, diagnosing mental health disorders, and collaboratively establishing coping strategies.

• Monitor each patient’s progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and approaches to ensure optimal recovery.

• Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding stress management and coping techniques related to trauma.
\n
• Coordinate effectively with various social services and healthcare providers to facilitate holistic support for patients, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, including continuing education courses to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and to remain informed of best practices in mental health counseling.

• Actively contribute to the clinic’s mission to enhance patient care by recognizing and addressing the gaps in mental health support for trauma patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, whether through injury or emotional distress. Your expertise will help patients navigating the complexities of their mental health challenges, ultimately leading to improved outcomes and enhanced quality of life. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current, valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

Compensation and Benefits\n
