Job Title : Global Supply Manager

Position Description : Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Global Supply Managerwith our client located in Pleasanton, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own the material purchasing for assigned products and parts.
• Lead and execute purchasing activities associated with New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts
• Monitor and manage key operational and Supply Chain metrics, including MRP use, PO meeting manufacturing need-by date, work order/kitting execution, and master schedule attainment
• Engage with cross-functional teams to define project timelines, supply chain objectives, and execution strategies
• Work with suppliers, distributors and vendors to source new and critical component and assembly parts to meet demand planning and Engineering builds.
• Oversee the proactive management of exceptions, such as material delays or changes, and facilitate communication to resolve issues
• Continuously review and adjust safety stock levels based on changes in demand patterns, lead times, and supplier performance
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels and supply chain activities to the senior operations management
• Coordinate with Finance on costing and inventory transactions
• Actively participate in month-end and quarter-end activities, responsible for physical inventory counts, cycle counting process, E&O, and consigned inventory management
• Support quarterly and annual internal and external audits
• Drive procurement activities for both direct and indirect materials
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to materials planning
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4-6 years prior experience in Materials, Planning, or Inventory Management
• Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large datasets
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• APICS CPIM, CSCP certification is preferred
• NetSuite, Coupa, and Arena experience a plus

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract
• Pay Range: $60-70/hr
• Location: Pleasanton, CA (Onsite)
