Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through virtual consultations to identify clients' emotional and psychological needs effectively.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessment results, incorporating evidence-based therapies suited to individual student needs.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other relevant techniques to foster client development.

• Monitor client progress towards established therapeutic goals, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness and alignment with client needs.

• Offer teletherapy options to students who face accessibility challenges, ensuring that mental health support is consistently available.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support a diverse population of students dealing with a spectrum of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. The therapist will work collaboratively with educators and other staff to integrate mental health strategies into the school environment, fostering a culture of support and understanding for students' emotional needs.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Proven track record of strong communication and interpersonal skills to form trusting relationships with clients.
