Local Gastro Account Manager - Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska
AbbVie
Field-based Account Manager for AbbVie's gastroenterology infusion therapy business, covering Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and parts of Illinois. Responsible for developing relationships with sites of care, executing account strategies, and maximizing treatment delivery opportunities in the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Maximize site of care opportunities and execute against defined management by objectives
- Develop and execute account business plans with local infusion providers and specialty pharmacies
- Provide clinical education on therapy and infusion procedures to assigned customers
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and education on coding, billing, and access strategies
- Serve as primary contact between assigned site of care partners and internal sales, patient services, and reimbursement teams
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years pharmaceutical or medical industry experience
- Minimum 2 years market access and site of care experience with infused products
- Experience identifying and activating infusion service providers and physician office practices
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory environments and billing/coding practices
- Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams in dynamic environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 70–75%
