Senior AccountantLHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well established and rapidly growing organization in the Levittown, PA area is seeking a Senior Accountant to support their Accounting Department during a period of increased activity and internal transition. This role is ideal for a detail oriented accounting professional who enjoys ownership of core financial processes, thrives in a fast paced environment, and values working as part of an engaged, collaborative team.Senior Accountant (Temporary – 6 to 9 Months)Location: Levittown, PASchedule: Fully OnsiteCompensation: $38–$42/hrType: Temporary Contract (6–9 months)Key ResponsibilitiesManage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate posting to the general ledger.Complete monthly balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.Generate month end financial reports and review them for accuracy and completeness.Assist with financial packages required for internal and external reporting.Support the development of financial forecasts using various assumptions and data sources.Review forecast variances and collaborate with stakeholders to validate results.Coordinate quarterly dividend payout processes in partnership with the Treasury team.Reconcile bank statements and research discrepancies as needed.Perform accounting research and support adhoc accounting initiatives.Record quarterly transactions related to the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).Assist leadership with special projects to enhance process efficiency and reporting quality.Maintain proactive and clear communication with internal departments and external partners.Provide support and documentation required for audits or reviews.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.3+ years of professional accounting experience with demonstrated knowledge of GAAP.Strong understanding of general ledger processes and financial reporting.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
