Senior Accountant

We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and serve as a trusted accounting partner across our organization. You'll work alongside Finance leaders, support multiple communities, help develop other accountants, and have a voice in improving processes and strengthening financial operations. This isn't a role where you simply close the books, you'll solve problems, influence better ways of working, and help our communities succeed. What You'll Do Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Support accounting and financial reporting for assigned Lifespace communities. Serve as a go-to resource for community accountants, providing guidance, training, and problem-solving support. Prepare cash, balance sheet, and income statement reconciliations. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and financial analysis. Identify accounting issues and implement stronger processes and controls. Partner with Finance and operational teams across the organization. Drive continuous improvement and accounting best practices. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and experience. 5+ years of accounting experience. Strong knowledge of US GAAP. Solid general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end close experience. If you're ready for more than your next accounting job, we're ready to meet you.
