Job Title: Office Assistant - Weightmaster

Pay Rate: $17.75/hr.

Shift: 6 AM - 6 PM

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D, PSL

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant – Weightmaster to support daily administrative and scale operations. This role is responsible for accurately weighing inbound and outbound trucks, maintaining records, assisting customers and drivers, and providing general office support. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

• Operate truck scales and accurately record inbound and outbound weights.
• Verify shipping and receiving documentation.
• Prepare and process weight tickets, invoices, and related paperwork.
• Enter data into company systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers, vendors, and drivers professionally.
• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain organized filing systems and office records.
• Assist with scheduling, reporting, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
• Monitor office supplies and notify management when inventory needs replenishing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous office administrative or clerical experience preferred.
• Weightmaster certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain if required).
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent data entry and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional customer service skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in both office and outdoor environments as needed.
