Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is to provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist. This role involves recording treatments administered and noting progress in medical records, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is provided to residents at all times.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities.Relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing in patients.Deliver treatment following an established plan of care.Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans.Monitor patient responses to treatment interventions.Complete required documentation in accordance with company policies and state/federal regulations.QualificationsAssociate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education).Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist.Empathy and patience while working with patients.Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises.New graduates are welcome to apply.
