Job Overview

As a Physical Therapist, you will be part of an acute rehabilitation unit, providing exceptional care to patients with a variety of conditions. Your role will involve designing and implementing rehabilitation programs to enhance patient recovery and improve quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy interventions to patients with conditions such as CVA, amputations, traumatic brain injury (TBI), orthopedic issues, and Parkinson's disease.
• Develop individual treatment plans and adjust them based on patient progress and feedback.
• Utilize specialized equipment, including Lite Gait, NuStep, and bariatric parallel bars, to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment goals and progress.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) required.
• Current state licensure in physical therapy.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Experience with neuro rehabilitation is a plus.
