This position is fully remote, allowing you to engage with clients and collaborate seamlessly with our healthcare team from the comfort of your workspace. The role's primary hours will typically be Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with the opportunity for occasional evening hours based on appointment scheduling. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use issues, determining the presence of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that specifically address their mental health and substance use challenges, integrating evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients' coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and skills for emotional regulation.

• Communicate and coordinate effectively with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists—to ensure comprehensive care.

• Monitor client substance use regularly and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to inspire and support clients throughout their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families on the complexities of co-occurring disorders and the importance of treatment adherence.

• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation of treatment plans, client progress, and any referrals, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in case conferences, staff meetings, and specialized trainings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies applicable to co-occurring disorders, particularly Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A robust understanding of how mental health and substance use disorders interact and influence each other.
\n
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Previous experience working with a client population facing co-occurring disorders is preferred, particularly in an outpatient integrated care setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, accompanied by a sign-on bonus.
