Sous Chef

River Club of Mequon is seeking a motivated and skilled Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily culinary operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of food quality, kitchen organization, and team leadership while delivering exceptional dining experiences for members, guests, and private events. Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations Supervise and support kitchen staff during food preparation and service Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet club standards Assist with inventory management, ordering, and food cost control Maintain proper food handling and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations Help train and mentor kitchen staff to promote a positive and efficient work environment Assist with banquet and event food preparation as needed Ensure kitchen areas remain clean, organized, and well maintained Qualifications 2+ years of culinary experience in a restaurant, club, or hospitality environment Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Heritage Golf Group
