Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Arrowhead PT Services, you will work onsite within a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Keansburg, New Jersey. The facility is designed to foster collaboration among healthcare professionals and provide a supportive environment for both staff and patients. Your schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring that you have dedicated time to focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Directing and managing physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function as per the individualized plan of care.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients, utilizing diagnostic tests to assess their functional abilities and tailoring therapy accordingly.
• Overseeing and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to prescribed treatment protocols and maintaining the highest standards of care.
• Assessing clients' home environments to identify barriers to rehabilitation and providing actionable recommendations to enhance their independence.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and treatment modalities like traction and massage, guiding clients in therapeutic exercises and everyday functional activities.
• Fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices; recommending modifications as necessary in consultation with the patient's physician.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to track patient progress and inform treatment decisions.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment plans and ensure comprehensive care for each client.
• Providing support and consultation to clients and their families regarding therapy devices and overall care management.
• Completing administrative tasks, including timely documentation of clinical and payroll records in alignment with branch policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on a diverse range of patients who may be recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or seeking rehabilitation after injury. You will work closely with clients to develop customized treatment programs that not only address their physical limitations but also enhance their functional capabilities within their daily lives. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• A commitment to professional development and clinical excellence.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative care team.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• At least one year of experience in an acute care or home health setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation with a focus on hands-on treatment techniques.
• Familiarity with the use of electronic medical records (EMR) systems for patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
