Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Liberty Therapy Clinic, you will work in patients' homes, providing care in a personalized, comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient conditions, implementing targeted treatment plans based on physician directives.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic care using various techniques designed to promote healing and functionality, in alignment with the physician's plan of care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to maximize patient outcomes, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and how to participate effectively in their recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously, meeting established utilization goals and contributing to the clinic's operational objectives.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer service, building relationships that enhance the patient experience and confirming Liberty Therapy Clinic's commitment to quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass treating a wide range of patient demographics, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic conditions, and rehabilitation for sports-related injuries. You may also engage with pediatric and neurologic patients, necessitating flexibility and adaptability in your treatment approaches. Our aim is always to restore patients to their highest possible functionality in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of practical experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an orthopedic-focused practice.
• Current CPR Certificate is required to ensure patient safety during treatment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a home health care setting, demonstrating an understanding of the specific challenges and rewards associated with this environment.
• Specialized training or certifications in orthopedic physical therapy, pediatric therapy, or sports medicine are a plus, enhancing the breadth of care provided to our patients.
• Strong communication skills to foster effective interactions with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Compensation and Benefits
