Locum - Neuro Surgeon - Colorado Springs, CO

Locum Tenens Neurosurgery Opportunity

Looking for additional neurosurgery locums to help fill the 2025 needs and to help backfill for locum who requires a 6 month break. Candidates must be available for any of the stints in the job description to be considered for ongoing dates.

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

• Jan 20 (7a) - 27 (7a)
• Ongoing dates are TBD, when schedules are released.
• 24 hour call (7a-7a)
• 16-17 shifts per month needed from all locums.
• Site will schedule providers a max of 7 consecutive days per stint.

Setting: Call, Inpatient, Emergency Room Trauma Level I

FTE: 1.0

Required Procedures/Job Duties: Surgical traumas (Cranial and Spine)

EMR: Yes/EPIC

Support Staff: RN, MA

Reason for Coverage: Short staffed

Dealbreakers (Do Not Present): Lack of availability for requested dates and provider required for break starting May 1, 2025.

EMR Required Training:

• Module (learn lessons) Must be completed prior to providers first day.
• EMR Onsite training Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training.
• Provider will be scheduled for onsite EMR training if Modules are completed, the morning of their first day.
• All candidates must complete the following EMR questionnaire and detail it in the notes section of the candidates submission before an offer can be made:

• Timeframe: 60 days standard
• Emergency Privs? Yes, 2 weeks with clean file only.
