About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP Fund Controller to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing all processes related to financial reporting and accounting for multiple real estate equity and credit funds. This includes managing investor contributions and distributions, valuation processes, redemptions, and the preparation of various financial reports. The role also involves ensuring compliance with lender and regulatory requirements, as well as coordinating closely with accounting staff and other departments to compile and review necessary documentation. Key responsibilities for the SVP Fund Controller at the company include reviewing fund governing and offering documents to ensure the proper application of fund terms, performing treasury and cash management reviews, and managing the year-end audit process. The ideal candidate will have heavy fund accounting experience and be adept at creating and maintaining financial models in line with fund terms. Additionally, the role requires the ability to lead, mentor, and motivate direct reports, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to the company's culture of growth and development. The SVP Fund Controller will also be involved in special projects and must be prepared to handle a variety of accounting, financial, and administrative tasks as needed.
