Job Title Occupational Therapist – Acute Care Location Portland, OR | Short Term Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 7:00–15:00) | Onsite | Weekends required (~4 weekend days/month) | Block schedules required Key Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services within a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital Float between units as needed across the facility Deliver patient evaluations and treatment interventions during day shift hours Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic charting system Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Complete required onboarding modules prior to and during orientation Required Qualifications Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license required (compact license must be in hand at time of submission) Minimum 1 year of inpatient acute care hospital experience required — this is a hard-stop requirement Must be available for block scheduling and weekend shifts Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (locals accepted at a different rate) 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with Epic electronic health records system Familiarity with floating between units or sister facilities in a hospital system Experience in a teaching hospital environment Why Join Us Work within a large, well-established acute care teaching hospital with no parking fees On-call is not required, providing a more predictable day-shift schedule Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775669.
