Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Schedule: Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A 36 hours per week 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend

Assignment Details:

• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• Active NY RN License
• AHA BLS Certification
• 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in a medical/surgical setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and response to treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and in a timely manner.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule.
• Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.
• Block scheduling can be requested but is not guaranteed approval.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
