As a Security Officer Patrol in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and tenants, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

DayTime Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
