Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, and property perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
