Project Manager Job Summary The project manager will coordinate and carry out roofing projects from inception to conclusion, including permitting, material coordination, and inspections. USE roofing project management software in budget estimate preparation for the project at hand and reviewing the contract specification, drawings, and design and take-off details. PROVIDE the initial client contact with details about the work scope and the resources required to finish the project. ENSURE that proper supervision and leadership skills are provided to all craft employers as well as subcontractors. ENSURE all roofing projects adhere to the site, corporate, building regulations, local authority requirements, and state and federal laws govern the same, thus, guaranteeing timely completion of projects. OWN the responsibility of the financial performance of the project at hand. PROVIDE safety and hands‑on leadership skills to the work team to optimize productivity, proper use of equipment and materials, and the roofing project’s overall performance. BUILD a strong and long‑lasting relationship with the existing as well as the prospective partners. SUPERVISE the entire project to ensure that it is within the design budget and schedule. In this case, the roofing manager must liaise with the AE and client representatives and other contractors. CREATE departmental standards that are in line with the organization’s best practices and operational success. PROVIDE technical support when it comes to drawings interpretations, indorsing construction methods, and the equipment needed. This requires the roofing manager to identify, initiate, and uphold extra work appraising and issuing change orders.

Field Superintendent Job Summary The FIELD SUPERINTENDENT is responsible for directing and overseeing all on‑site commercial roofing operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes. This position provides day‑to‑day leadership to field crews and subcontractors, coordinates with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors, and serves as the primary on‑site representative for the company. The Field Superintendent ensures quality workmanship, enforces safety standards, manages site logistics, and resolves field issues to support successful project execution and customer satisfaction across projects. Job Duties and Responsibilities OVERSEES field staff, assisting foremen with crew leadership. CONDUCTS or participates in daily safety audits. TRAINS field staff in safety, work skills and efficiency. PROVIDES ongoing feedback to foremen regarding job performance. RESOLVES complaints and grievances; assists with discipline when necessary. SCHEDULES materials, equipment and deliveries, paying special attention to using inventoried materials. MONITORS material usage, minimize waste, anticipate shortages and order materials as needed. COORDINATES, supervises and manages subcontractors MONITORS quality of installations. ENGAGES with customers to answer questions and provide explanations. SCHEDULES daily or weekly contact with customers to review progress. DISCUSES any outstanding issues with customers and other parties. MEETS with customers to verify satisfaction with work and billing; deliver warranties. REVIEW plans and sites, delegate crews and do all pre‑job planning including but not limited to creating site‑specific plans and work plan efficiencies. ENSURES crews have information and instructions necessary to complete jobs. SUBMITS reports and paperwork and otherwise coordinates communication between office and job sites. INVESTIGATES incidents, near misses, accidents and thefts, and provides relevant documents, photos and assessments to the office. DELIVERS all documentation to the office in a timely manner. PARTICIPATES in manufacturer final inspection. PARTICIPATES in regular review meetings with project managers. DEMONSTRATES commitment to professional development.

Roofing Foreman Job Summary The COMMERCIAL ROOFING FOREMAN is responsible for directing the removal, preparation, and installation of various types of roofing systems for primarily commercial roofing. Steep slope/Residential roofing experience is a plus but not required. This position oversees and performs physical labor as part of a production crew and assists in all phases of commercial roofing projects including tear‑off, installation, flashing, clean‑up, and jobsite safety/housekeeping. This role requires strong technical skills, and attention to detail. The role requires reliability, physical endurance, and the ability to LEAD a team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to company and manufacturer standards. The FOREMAN must be able to give direction, work within a team of others to perform a task, perform skilled details, work at heights, and ensure that all work is performed to code and in accordance with specifications. Job Duties and Responsibilities Leadership & Crew Management LEAD assigned production crew on commercial roofing projects, setting expectations for safety, quality, and productivity. ASSIGN daily tasks and responsibilities to crew members based on project needs and individual skill levels. TRAIN, COACH, and MENTOR crew members on proper installation techniques, safety practices, and company standards. COLLABORATE with the assigned crew and work for the benefit of all. HOLD CREW MEMBERS ACCOUNTABLE for performance, attendance, workmanship, and safety compliance. PROMOTE teamwork, professionalism, and a positive jobsite culture. Production & Quality OVERSEE all phases of commercial roofing installation including tear‑off, insulation, membrane systems, flashing, edge metal, and detail work. ENSURE all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, drawings, company standards, and applicable codes. INSPECT completed work regularly to verify quality and address deficiencies promptly. COORDINATE workflow to meet production schedules and project deadlines. Safety & Compliance ENFORCE all OSHA regulations, fall protection requirements, PPE usage, and company safety policies. CONDUCT daily jobsite safety checks and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings. IDENTIFY AND CORRECT unsafe conditions immediately. REPORT incidents, near misses, hazards, and injuries according to company procedures. ENSURE proper setup, use, and removal of safety equipment including guardrails, harnesses, ladders, and scaffolding. MAINTAIN clean and safe job sites, following OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines. LEAD in weekly trainings and manufacturer system‑specific training. ATTEND all companywide training events and any other training as assigned. Communication & Documentation SERVE AS PRIMARY ONSITE CONTACT between the crew and Production Superintendent or Project Manager. COMMUNICATE daily progress, manpower needs, material needs, delays, and issues. TRACK AND REPORT crew hours, production progress, and jobsite conditions as required. COORDINATE material staging and ensure proper handling and storage of materials. Hands‑On Work PERFORM roofing installation work alongside the crew as needed. OPERATE hand and power tools safely and efficiently. ASSIST with equipment operation, material handling, and complex installation details when required.
