Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a global law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Associate to join their Exec Compensation and Benefits team based in New York.


JOB DETAILS

• SALARY: $390,000 - $455,000 per annum DOE
• WORK TYPE: Permanent
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time
• LOCATION: New York City, New York

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• My client is looking for a Senior Associate to work in our Business Law Department's ERISA and Executive Compensation practice.
• In addition to specialized experience representing public and private enterprises, candidates must have broad experience handling various aspects of transactions alone as well as working in teams.
• The applicant must have substantial experience with executive benefits and compensation issues pertaining to mergers and acquisitions.
• The candidate should be knowledgeable about the securities disclosure and tax laws relevant to executive compensation, as well as capable of creating and advising on all types of equity compensation.
• It is advantageous to have more ERISA and employee benefit plan experience.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Licensed to practice in New York
• 4+ years PQE working within Exec Compensation and Benefits.
• Must possess a JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
