Job Description

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and case management.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain pleadings, motions, subpoenas, exhibits, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate court filings and ensure compliance with applicable deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Assist with document review, productions, factual investigations, and legal research.
• Prepare deposition, hearing, and trial materials, including witness files, exhibits, and trial notebooks.
• Maintain case files, litigation databases, and project tracking tools to support active matters.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other external parties as directed by attorneys.
• Provide day-to-day litigation support across sophisticated matters, including energy-related disputes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Litigation Paralegal should have:

• 3-5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally within a law firm or sophisticated litigation environment.
• Experience supporting complex litigation matters, including discovery, court filings, and trial preparation.
• Energy, oil & gas, or other commercial litigation experience is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail, professionalism, and client service skills.
• Experience with e-discovery platforms such as Relativity or Opus2 is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with attorneys and legal staff.
