Registered Nurse - Outpatient Dialysis

Schedule

9H Day shifts, flexibility required for 8/9/10/12H shifts as needed, including some Saturday requirements.

Requirements

• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience
• EPIC experience within the last 2 years (non-negotiable)
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Reliable transportation is necessary; public transportation is not accessible in this area
• Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November to April

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with chronic renal diseases in an outpatient setting.
• Administer IV therapy and medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patient's vital signs and health status during treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care strategies.
• Document patient care activities in electronic medical records.
