Solutions Engineer - Pricing Technology & Automation

Worldwide Clinical Trials

Worldwide Clinical Trials seeks a Solutions Engineer to implement, configure, and maintain pricing tools and automation systems supporting commercial initiatives. The role involves software development across VBA, SQL, Power Query, API, and Microsoft Power Platform, with focus on pricing tool modernization and process automation rather than legacy support.

Responsibilities

Analyze and resolve pricing tool and production system issues to maintain service level agreements
Design and implement software solutions for data integration, automation, monitoring, and reporting
Lead technical execution of pricing tool modernization and consolidation initiatives
Develop code, configurations, and scripts to meet delivery timelines and business requirements
Collaborate with Strategic Finance, Proposal Management, and Commercial Operations on system integration

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated experience
Proficiency in Microsoft toolset (VBA, .NET Framework, C#, Visual Studio) or SQL/relational databases
Experience with Power Query, Microsoft Power Platform, API integration, or Java technologies
Demonstrated experience developing pricing or financial automation tools using Excel, VBA, SQL
2+ years in CRO, clinical systems development, or business systems/pricing technology roles
Familiarity with clinical trials, patient safety, data integrity, and applicable regulations
Advanced Microsoft Excel capability and strong written/spoken English communication
