This full-time contract opportunity calls for a Special Education Teacher experienced in delivering adapted curriculum instruction to a diverse student population. You will facilitate learning and foster growth for students requiring specialized academic and behavioral supports.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license with Adapted Curriculum endorsement (required; no exceptions)
• Demonstrated experience in Special Education, preferably within middle or high school settings
• Strong understanding of instructional strategies for students with significant learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted, individualized instruction to students based on their IEP goals within an adapted curriculum framework
• Employ evidence-based behavioral and academic interventions tailored for each student
• Manage classroom dynamics and maintain a supportive, structured environment
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Ensure compliance with educational guidelines and maintain accurate records
• Communicate clearly and consistently with families and colleagues
