Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, identifying optimal paths for treatment.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Deliver therapeutic care that empowers patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms for healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related incidents, delivering immediate and effective resources.

• Educate patients and families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and recovery.

• Maintain meticulous, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to uphold patient trust and safety.

• Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and exploring the latest trauma-informed care research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with primarily consist of adults who have experienced significant trauma. This includes individuals with a history of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your ability to provide empathic, evidence-based treatments will create a safe space for these individuals to navigate their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Florida.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities is essential.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as EMDR and TF-CBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
